The government in Democratic Republic of Congo 🇨🇩has signed a major deal with KoBold Metals, a US 🇺🇸 mining company backed by Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, to develop the Manono lithium deposit, one of the world's largest. The project supports US efforts to gain better access to minerals needed for electric vehicles.
