Me neither, but it's the best they've got. Philosophy: Kant, Nietzsche, Hegel, Wittgenstein, Marx, Schoppenhauer, Heidegger vs Who? Literature: England hasn't produced any GOAT after Shakespeare. They have people like Tolkien or fucking George Orwell as their 18th-20th century heavyweights. Goethe solos those chumps. The English people are so lucky that Germany lost WWII and that America is gassing up their intellectual achievements in school textbooks, because in reality, England is nowhere near Germany's weight class.
