You are not just part of our story. You are the story. The Author. The Finisher. The Faithful One who holds all things together by the word of Your power. Today we come not to ask for comfort apart from You, but to find our rest in You. In the middle of our unanswered questions and weary hearts, we declare: You are enough. You were crushed so we could be made whole. You were forsaken so we could be brought near. You took our sin so we could be clothed in Your righteousness. How could we not trust You now? Forgive us for the ways we’ve tried to carry what You already conquered. Forgive us for chasing peace apart from Your presence. We lay down the idol of control and pick up the cross of surrender. Not our will, but Yours be done. Jesus, be glorified in our waiting. Be magnified in our weakness. Be lifted high in our obedience, even when it costs us comfort. Let every delay, every frustration, every unknown be a stage on which Your glory is displayed. We don’t want just relief, we want renewal. We don’t want just answers, we want You. Be the joy of our salvation today. Be the song that sustains us. Be the King we trust, worship, and follow, no matter where You lead. Pray with me July 21, 2025
Lord Jesus Christ, You are the radiance of the Father’s glory, the Lamb who was slain, and the King who is coming. You are not just part of our story. You are the story. The Author. The Finisher. The Faithful One who holds all things together by the word of Your power.
