You start a business.

The first few weeks, your phone is as busy as a Black Friday sale.

Everyone wants the inside scoop..old college pals, your aunt who once sold Tupperware, even that guy who ghosted you after the third date.

Everyone’s suddenly fascinated by “the founder life.”

You get that glazed look in your eyes when you talk about it, half-caffeinated, half-hoping, half-scared. (Yeah, that’s too many halves. You get it. This shit is messy.)

You share your vision, your why, maybe even your revenue numbers (the honest ones, not the ones you put on LinkedIn).

You’re vulnerable.

You let them in.

And they’re curious.

 At first.

And the thing about curiosity is, it's lazy.

It wants the payoff, the climax, the “I told you so” moment.

It doesn’t want the grind, the silence when you wonder if your best idea is a dud.

Curiosity wants the big moment, not the hard work it takes to get there.

So you keep showing up.

You keep writing, selling, showing up even when the room is empty.

Slowly, the messages stop coming.

“How’s the business?” becomes “How’s work?”

And then… nothing.

They don’t ask about your business anymore.

Not because they don’t care but because you’re not giving them a story they can retell at parties.

You’re not a viral sensation.

You’re not on their LinkedIn feed with a “How I Made Six Figures in Six Weeks”

You’re just… building.

This is when the real work starts.

Not the work of branding or pitching or posting but the work of showing up when no one’s watching.

The work of believing in the thing even when your own mother changes the subject.

It’s lonely.

But here’s the shift you need to make:

This silence is your new normal.

It’s not a sign you’re failing.

It’s a sign you’re not a circus act anymore.

You’re not a spectacle.

You’re a creator, a maker and the one who gets things done.

Let me tell you something they don’t teach you in business school.

If your friends are still asking about your business every week, you’re probably stuck in the same place.

Growth is quiet.

Success is boring until it isn’t.

And when you finally break through, the people who matter will notice.

because you outlasted the silence.

And....

If you want to generate leads through content ?

Start writing for the one person who needs your story, the one who’s stuck in the same quiet, unglamorous grind as you.

That’s your real lead.

That’s your real audience.

Because most people will never understand what you’re building until it’s too big to ignore.

And by then, you won’t care who’s asking.
