Turkiye may announce a preliminary agreement for a multibillion-dollar purchase of up to XX Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets as early as this week, in a deal potentially worth $XXX billion, per WSJ. 

The contract, still under discussion for the exact number and configuration of the aircraft, would bolster Europe’s defense industry and elevate the Eurofighter program, which has been overshadowed by the U.S. F-35.
