🌿 In the copper- and cobalt-rich soils of the DRC, TFM is working to protect a unique ecological treasure: copper flora – rare plant species that thrive in metal-rich environments.

For nearly XX years, TFM has led a targeted biodiversity program aligned with ICMM P7 and IFC P6 international standards. From a dedicated nursery and seed bank to soil erosion control using mineralized substrates and conservation research with @uniluofficiel, we are pioneering biodiversity practices in key mining areas.

Our progress at a glance:

🔬 Nearly XX metallophyte plant species are now preserved and regenerated.
 🌱 XXXXXX m² of land were ecologically restored in 2024 – equivalent to XX football pitches.
 🔥 Firebreaks have been implemented around TFM’s mining areas to protect biodiversity from wildfires.
