Needed to correct my earlier take 

 interesting from a gamesmanship perspective of Australian parliament where majority in either House of cth parliament and even at state levels can be prosecuted to shift power of either house in passing bills by prosecuting qualifying or disqualifying Parliamentary Seat Holders (lower house or senate)**** 

In those years overshadowed by tight majorities in Australian or Westminster systems, it seems returns or policy forward expectations of basis of majority are fragile and should be tied to these developments. 
This kind of links back to my idea of bipartisanship returns vs otherwise
Prosecution of senate constituencies via disqualifying powers and where at state level that are not otherwise ratified by government of day as being trivial etc…
