What next?

Achieving incentive alignment is a persistent challenge. We want to give back to those who have real skin in the game and participate in our DeFi ecosystem actively and authentically.

It'll be what we wanted Ink's GM system to look like all along. Real signals with real rewards in sight.

Your Shroomy participation will be weighted in a complex formula of mycelial magic. Those who hold or stake SHROOMY, have active supply/borrow positions, or use ShroomySwap etc will be able to broadcast a mycelial whisper to the universe each day.

This data will be stored onchain and plotted onto a leaderboard that resets weekly. There will be some random variance and it won't overly favor whales (hello S-shaped curves). Sybil approaches will be futile too, as the mycelium cannot be fooled!

Imagine mining blocks for rewards but instead of competing with hashrate, we'll be growing and harvesting Shroomies together onchain and everyone will have a chance to win that Golden Shroomy prize.

Anyone will be able to execute the weekly rewards distribution, and there will be several tiers of prizes.

It will take us a little while to build but it'll be good fun.
