A Nigerian man was arrested for allegedly paying dowry/lobola with counterfeit money. The parents of the bride discovered the money was fake when they attempted to deposit it at an ATM. 

The 52-year-old Mr. Adeloye Johnson had dated the 22-year-old Sandra Chauke for X months prior to paying lobola for her. A cautionary note has been raised regarding transactions involving large sums of money.
