When I go to the grocery store to buy Whole Foods I’m not investing in the food. I’m investing in my health

When someone buys a vehicle they aren’t investing in the vehicle (unless buying something ultra rare or whatever) they are investing in their career/life. 

Just because you spend money on it does not make it an investment
