To be fair, we can‘t just look at "new supply". There's always a supply of coins ready to be sold, especially as the price goes higher.

Would be interesting to see an estimate of how many coins will come on the market at any future price.

If we assume that 4m Bitcoin are lost, then we have XXX billion people (and hundreds of thousands of companies and organizations) fight over 17m Bitcoin. 

Personally I like this visualization the best:

There are 65m millionaires in the world. So every millionare can only ever get XXXX BTC. 

Let that sink in.
