BOYS II PLANET’s Kim Geon Woo and Kang Woo Jin revealed to be WAKEONE Entertainment trainees, not individual trainees.

WAKEONE explained that Kim Geon Woo’s program application and evaluation took place before he signed a trainee contract and since he had already been preparing to appear on the program as an individual, there were scheduling difficulties in participating as a team with existing WakeOne trainees.

In regards to Kang Woo Jin, WAKEONE explained that he was a trainee who was developing his skills with the goal of becoming a singer-songwriter so there was a difference in musical concept compared to existing trainees who were preparing for the program, and he also had no professional experience in idol training. Therefore, it was deemed more appropriate for him to appear as an individual.
