The Ministry of Defence has already paid CZK X billion in advances and this year it should be more than CZK X billion. KNDS has already produced two prototypes on which it has carried out control tests. They showed that the howitzers failed to meet several important parameters. According to a reliable source, the problem is, for example, that the howitzers do not fire the required 40km in MRSI mode or that the KNDS has not yet delivered the data describing the relationship between the gun and the ammunition, without which the fire control system cannot function and the ammunition manufacturer cannot do without it to integrate its ammunition. The Ministry of Defence is buying the Adler III fire control system for the Caesar howitzers from Germany's ESG for CZK XXX million (~$14.66 million) and XXXXXX artillery shells from the Czech STV Group for CZK XX billion (~$567.6 million).
