U.S. Envoy Tom Barrack, during his visit to Beirut, stated: “I’ve returned to Lebanon because President Trump is committed to regional stability, and Lebanon plays a key role. We need to focus on it now to help restore security across the region. The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel hasn’t held, and we’re working to address that.”

He added, “The issue of disarming Hezbollah is a domestic Lebanese matter. As far as the U.S. is concerned, Hezbollah is a foreign terrorist group. We’re here to support, advise, and encourage dialogue, but we cannot force Israel’s hand.”
