This morning:

London's premier index rose around XXX% in early trade. Miners such as Antofagasta ( $ANTO.L ), Anglo American ( $AAL.L) and Glencore ( $GLEN.L) led the index higher.

Over in Germany, the DAX ( $GDAXI ) was flat.
The CAC XX ( $FCHI) in Paris fell below the flatline.

The pan-European STOXX XXX ( $STOXX) also lacked direction, hovering slightly higher.
