Those who have been around the block enough times understand that success in exploration invariably flows from having entered a commodity or a jurisdiction well before it or they became popular. Once something or somewhere is flavour of the month, it's too late as the entry cost will probably kill off all but the most astounding of outcomes. We acquired the Anza project in Colombia in late 2014 when Colombia was a war zone and you couldn't give gold away. We entered Argentina when it was an economic basket case that nobody would touch with a broom handle. We entered the Nigerian lithium space during the downturn of the commodity and with Nigeria being "interesting"! No idea if it will work out, probably not, but it's worth a punt. Base the entry on geology, get in cheap, do a good deal, make the holding costs low, get maximum equity, hold your ground and hope for the best. If good, carry on, if no good, walk away to fight another day somewhere else. Fortune favours the well informed.
