He was behind me, and we both sang "Runnin’" like our lives depended on it. We then bonded over the song during intermission. I was more shocked that an American knew the song that well. We went for a drink after with friends. Initially, I thought he was “one of the girls” 😹 until he asked my my number, he saw how “confused” I was, and he was like “Beyoncé is for everyone” 🤧. I apologised for stereotyping him. We met up for dinner a couple of days later and the rest was history.
