Big news for @arbitrum Stylus developers.

@OpenZeppelin just dropped the audited release of Rust Contracts for Stylus v0.2.0 and it's packed with new tools and features.

What is Stylus?

Stylus is Arbitrum’s new smart contract environment that allows developers to write high performance smart contracts in Rust, C, and C++ opening the doors to faster, more efficient, and more flexible onchain development.

Why OpenZeppelin Rust Contracts Matter?

@OpenZeppelin is the gold standard for secure smart contract libraries. Their new Rust Contracts for Stylus bring time tested Solidity patterns into the Rust ecosystem with all the performance benefits Stylus provides.

Plus these contracts are fully audited, giving devs confidence in security and reliability.

What’s in v0.2.0?

The v0.2.0 release includes modules for.
🔹 DeFi: Vaults, wrappers, tokens
🔹 NFTs: ERC721 & ERC1155 support, royalties
🔹 Access control & ownership tools
🔹 Safe math, pausability, and extensibility
🔹 Full support for Arbitrum-native features via Stylus

This makes it significantly easier to build secure DeFi protocols, NFT infrastructure, or experimental apps in Rust on Arbitrum.

Why Build with Stylus and OpenZeppelin?

✅ Massive performance boost
✅ Access to audited building blocks
✅ Support for traditional Web2 languages like Rust ✅ Seamless integration with Arbitrum’s ecosystem

Developers can now bring familiar programming paradigms and high-assurance tooling to L2 smart contracts.

Where to Start?

Check out the full library, docs, and audit details here:

This release marks a milestone in the evolution of Ethereum development. With Stylus + OpenZeppelin, Arbitrum is becoming the go-to platform for next-gen, high-performance smart contracts whether you're building DeFi, NFTs, or new primitives entirely.
