Mmm, remember people talking about "The Big Crunch" back when I was in junior high school in the 90s. I never found the Big Bang theory to be all that convincing. If there is a mistake to establish the speed of light racing across the Universe as constant, then the whole thing interpreting the red shift as a huge expansion is wrong. But as time goes by old theories are more considered as gospel rather than something that should be looked at with a critical mind. Theories built upon theories built upon theories... Big Crunch? I'll give it another XX years and we'll see how good these theories stand. Who knows, maybe that James Webb telescope will find more "impossible galaxies". 😸👍
