It's really about America being a "Battle Royale"-- a video game-- it's about fictitious capital creating a reality distortion field-- the real "virus" during Covid is the financialization putsch, the quiet "hallucinations" of financialization, AI, crypto, NFTs, etc. It's the only movie that seems to be interested in the "post-covid world"-- the actual real material reality we live in.
