To strengthen performance, reliability, and long-term scalability of the BTFS network, BTFS XXX introduces a new node role: Storage Providers (SPs) — high-performance operators equipped with enterprise-grade infrastructure.

SPs are held to significantly higher standards in hardware, uptime, and service quality. To qualify, candidates must first become validators on the BTTC network, reinforcing the technical and economic integrity of the broader BitTorrent ecosystem.
