If the rumours, which have been circulated by some of the more prominent profiles here, that it is no longer possible to gain a World Tour membership by buying a licence are true, the merger would give the license to 19th place team on the three-year list. This position is currently held by Cofidis, just XXX points ahead of Uno-X. Just under 2/3 of the season has passed and the Norwegian-licensed team has scored XXXXX points more than them this year, which, if trends are anything to go by, would reverse the order by the start of October. If the current GC position were to remain, that gap would immediately narrow by XXX points by next week, as that's the difference between Johannessen's 8th and Buchmann's 29th. It would be an incredible turnaround, especially after the context in which I thought about both teams before the season, but now Uno-X World Tour membership (not just quasi-wildcard level, but in real terms) looks very realistic. #TDF2025 XXXXX engagements **Related Topics** [aprs](/topic/aprs) [corporate finance](/topic/corporate-finance) [Post Link](https://x.com/cycloben2/status/1947176957864562848)
