He reminds me of an elder person you grew up to respect and you listened to every word because of their experience. You then however, grow up and have a kid and realize their advice isn't wrong for the most part but just isn't the best. Then you realize they have dementia and it is time for them to go to an elderly home even though they think they are the head of the family.
