Number crunching anybody can do.. But at some point real research has to begin. That means going beyond numbers understanding what the business actually does, how it makes money, and whether there is potential for earnings and revenue growth in the future. These future drivers wont show up in todays financials but they will reflect in the numbers later. And by then it might be too late. In todays competitive world, doing what everyone else is doing wont give you an edge. If you ae only looking at numbers, you are in the same boat as the crowd. But when you dig deeper study the business model, spot early signs of a turnaround or find something the market has not priced in yet thats when you are doing real research. Thats where hidden gems live. Look for businesses that might look bent today but have a clear path to straighten out tomorrow. Don’t chase perfection those are already discovered and fully priced in this market This isnt just investing its the art of spotting what others missed.
