It goes like this: 1) $TRUMP has a legitimate problem like a lawsuit which would create real liability. 2) $DJT issues a flood of press releases about something insane or stupid. 3) if there WAS an media coverage of the main issue, they become distracted and cover the news that Trump plants. 4) days, weeks, or longer pass, and the original issue is forgotten or never rises to main stream awareness and often that causes the real litigation against him to evaporate. 5) if that doesn't work he will sue somebody, or instigate a circumstance where he gets sued but not over the original issue. 6) the public is led by the press who no longer use editorial restraint when it comes to the morning blasts that Trump press operations issue, and eventually arguments arise over basically what amounts to nothing. 7) Trump will then call whatever investigation remains on the nonsense he created a dust up about as a hoax, or witch hunt, when it was actually a wild goose chase, a fool's errand, or a red herring. This formula is compounded exponentially because there are many situations like this running concurrent without any resolution: Epstein, Russia, 2020 election, etc. The public gets nowhere, Trump remains in power, the press moves on to the next thing, and politicians in the @GOP ride the wave just as @TheDemocrats do pretending to fight Trump. He gives the GOP a shield, and the Democrats a boogeyman. It is so transparent, routine, and irksome. I hate how nobody else can see it and do anything about it.
