If you affirm the divinity of Christ (the eternal divine Logos Who became flesh, thereby assuming our human nature), do you believe He was & remained divine from the moment of His conception in the Virgin's womb? If so, she carried God for nine months within her flesh, gave birth to Him, & nursed Him. How is she not then His mother? The only way you can deny that is to posit some man "Jesus" who is not God, distinct from the eternal Logos. Hence: Nestorianism.
