I think he was exaggerating and didn’t mean it literally. IMO he was simply comparing the upcoming altseason to 2021, in which discernment wasn’t important because everything went parabolic. Retail came and bought everything back then. Whereas good quality picks will be crucial this altseason this time. 

So yeah, Bob and I would agree with you here: “The important thing for bigger reward here is to be in correct alts”
