Actually, that affordability is still here! Paying $XXXXX for a 2-bedroom in 1950 while earning $3,300/year is like paying $XXXXXX for one in 2025 with a $XXXXXX salary. Adjusted for inflation, it's the same deal; and you can still find homes around that price in many areas today.
