In 2023, then #Raiders GM Dave Ziegler allegedly had a deal in place to trade up for the 2nd overall pick to draft CJ STROUD & HC Josh McDaniels OVERRULED Ziegler.

McDaniels signed Jimmy Garoppolo to a 3-year, $XX million deal instead.
