The admin that claims to "make Indians great again" is the same one threatening a $3.8B stadium deal unless a football team resurrects a slur Native groups spent decades fighting. Priorities: cultural regression over infrastructure, performative slurs over sovereignty.  

Washington changed "Redskins" in 2020 after sponsors and advocates rejected its racism. Cleveland phased out "Indians" in 2021 following MLB pressure. Yet Trump now rewrites history, claiming Native communities "clamor" for slurs erased through their own activism. Even the owner he attacks isn't Matt Dolan—it's Paul Dolan. Facts crumble beneath grievance politics.  

We teach kids to reject bullies, then elect leaders who bully cities into reviving bigoted mascots. Heritage isn’t a prop for political theater—it’s respect earned through action, not erased by stadium extortion.
