I love to fish and hunt. In PA, I pay for a launch permit for my kayak when using state park waters. All are reasonably priced and support the sports. I don’t see a problem with Oregon’s permit change- why should paddlers have a free ride on the backs of boaters & fishermen? As long as the funds are reasonable and support the waterways & not political pet projects, it’s responsible governance.
