HIrys fam,

Today I read about the Multi-Ledger System, a powerful new feature just launched by the @irys_xyz team, and I’m genuinely impressed. This isn’t just a storage upgrade, it’s a step toward making onchain data programmable, controllable, and action-driven.

1⃣ Layered for performance
Data flows from the Submit Ledger (for filtering and validation) → to the Publish Ledger (for permanent, verifiable storage via Merkle proofs). Soon, Term-ledgers will allow storage based on custom durations, perfect for data with a lifecycle.

2⃣ Data that knows how to act
Thanks to the upgraded EVM layer (IrysVM), smart contracts can directly read, write, and enforce rules on stored data. No need for external oracles or databases. That means AI automation, content licensing, SocialFi, and more are all possible.

3⃣ Fast, cheap, and transparent infra
Storage fees are stable and hardware-pegged, throughput hits 100K TPS, and data is globally replicated with ingress/Merkle proofs for integrity. Misbehaving miners get slashed.

Multi-Ledger System is opening the door to a whole new layer of infrastructure, where data carries logic, behaves autonomously, and acts as a true onchain agent.
