The goal of @cysic_xyz is to offer verification and proof generation services to the whole ZK ecosystem.

By addressing the following two significant challenges, Cysic network aims to foster a sustainable environment for ZK proof generation and verification: 

- Decentralization of Prover: The idea of decentralized provers offers a solid defense against single points of failure in ZK projects, while also enhancing the effectiveness and economy of proof creation. All Layer X and Layer X ZK projects naturally adopt this design approach, which reflects the decentralized nature of the blockchain ecosystem.

- Cost and delay in ZK Proof Verification: Ethereum has a high cost and delay when it comes to ZK proof settlement. The current method involves combining multiple proofs and using Ethereum to resolve the combined proof. This method lengthens the wait time but lowers gas costs needed for verification. Since ZK proof verification is basically a nearly stateless procedure, users have the option to verify it off-chain before aggregating and settling it on Ethereum if they so desire. The latency and cost of ZK proof verification are balanced in this two-step settlement procedure.
