The US equity market which is now highly concentrated with top XX companies  constituting XX% of the S&P500 market cap, is at astronomical valuations with key market weighted indices like NDX and S&P500 richly valued. 

On the contrary, equal weighted index and small/mid caps are fairly valued. 

In fact, some of the sectors like energy and healthcare seems to be extremely cheap. 

This dichotomy is due to the AI led mega cap earnings growth which has led to liquidity chasing few stocks. 

However, one must ask the question: What happens if earnings growth slows?

What happens if the markets are underpricing the tariff shock?

What happens if the inflationary shock from tariffs coupled with underlying macro weakness leads to stagflation?
