On July 17th, @SenTomCotton sent a letter to @PeteHegseth — informing him that @Microsoft uses teams in China to build and support US Government Defense systems. On July 18th, @PeteHegseth responded publicly by saying, “Agree fully. Our team is already looking into this ASAP.” X hours later (still July 18th), Microsoft publicly responded by saying that, going forward, “no China-based engineering teams” would work on DoD projects.
