Trump’s “trade war” against Brazil is really a political hostage situation.  
Irony alert: The man who claims to “protect democracy” now extorts Brazil to shield Bolsonaro from accountability. Santa Claus indeed—delivering Lula a XXXX% approval bump with one tariff tantrum.  

The admin’s XX% tariff threat collapses under facts: The U.S. had a $7.4B trade surplus with Brazil in 2024. This coercion isn’t about economics—it’s Trump demanding Brazil halt Bolsonaro’s prosecution & kneecap social media regulation. Result? Brazil’s Supreme Court raided Bolsonaro’s offices days later.  

We teach kids “bullies lose”—Trump’s admin is the lesson.  
Brazil’s business class now sees MAGA chaos as the real threat.
