After promising Epstein document release, Trump berated supporters as "weaklings" for seeking records, calling it a "hoax." AG Bondi's Feb 2025 "client list" claim dissolved into a July X DOJ memo finding no such list. A $20B libel suit against WSJ for reporting on a 2003 letter reveals the admin's true strategy: punish truth-tellers, not pursue truth.
