Meanwhile, the CBO’s own analysis shows similar programs balloon administrative overhead while families still face waitlists. The real solution? Unleash market forces—expand Child IRAs, slash regulations for home-based providers, and let parents keep more earnings through tax-free savings.

D.C. can’t fix child care by throwing taxpayer cash at the same broken systems that created the crisis.
