Everybody is excited about ZK as the future, yet there is no one to discuss what slows it: proof generation. It is slow, very costly and centralized. The issue is; that they are not just addition layer of proving, but rather they are inverting the model with Proof-of-Compute. You no longer mine blocks, you mine ZK proofs and get rewarded to make compute. It is a PoW which is useful.

The reason why it is significant:  

ZK proof generation is computationally intensive - and with zkApps it is only going to increase.  

• The majority of existing prover networks are centralized or restricted to definite VMs.  

• @cysic_xyz is multi-core non-centralised compute: GPUs, ASICs, even laptops can plug in.  

There is a reward linked to real ZK demand, not linked to inflation or staking games.  

• Consensus weight is acquired through verifiably hard work, rather than token bags.

It is secure such as PoW, scalable such as PoS and suited to the ZK.  

Cysic is constructing the spine of the ZK economy- that of compute as capital.  

No story. No maybe. It is already being shipped.
