Again it’s not so much a following or popularity, it’s more about CARING about the result

When Patrick Reed was in contention, won or lose people were a LOT more invested in it than anything Scottie has ever done. To be fair most of the the people rooted against him & for whoever he was opposing 

With Koepka it was a certain fascination because at his peak he was at a much higher level at the majors, but unlike EVERY other great like Scottie, Rory, Tiger of course, Phil etc. he wasn’t winning X to X PGA tournaments per major as they ALL have done, instead it was X per X & that is just something never seen before
