According to Gaza's Ministry of Religious Affairs, Israeli strikes have destroyed three churches in the territory since October 2023.

The affected sites include the historic Saint Porphyrius Church, the Gaza Baptist Church compound, and the Holy Family Catholic Church.

As for the human toll, the Palestinian state minister for foreign affairs stated in May 2024 that three percent of Gaza's Christian population had been killed during the conflict.

There have also been incidents outside of the recent conflict, such as a 2015 arson attack on the Church of the Multiplication in northern Israel by Jewish extremists.
