You said it all.

LayerZero V1 relied on oracles and relayers which made it more limited in flexibility and decentralization.

But with LayerZero V2, the game changed:
→ Replaced by DVNs (Decentralized Verifier Networks) and Executors

→ Modular design = more flexibility, more choice
→ You can pick your own security model, even plug in Axelar as a DVN

It’s no longer about who’s “more decentralized.”
It’s about composability, speed, and adoption.

And OFT adoption is proof

OFT is quietly becoming the stablecoin standard.
