Comments like this reveal the commenter doesn't understand the first thing about how the world works. Doctors generally make much more than journalists. I know doctors who make more than Grayden Carter did at Vanity Fair! We're forbidden from having positions in stocks or sharing inside information outside of our reporting and stories, and journalists who do are not only fired, sometimes they go to jail. You could run a whole newsroom on what many biotech CEOs make annually. Sarepta itself has annual revenues that are the same as those of the New York Times. I want medicines to work. It's one of the reasons I write about what I do! I know Adam does too. But we believe our role is to find facts, tell stories, and help you think clearly and, above all, to be honest.
