🟥 Liverpool Aren’t Done Yet - Ekitike Isn’t the Finish Line

So Liverpool’s summer of purpose, not panic, continues. Ekitike addresses a key need, but this next phase of the window was never about a single signing. With Quansah and Kelleher gone, plus the likes of Nunez, Diaz, Elliott, Morton and a surplus left-back expected to follow, the work is still ongoing; and necessarily so.

#Isak remains the move that would elevate the entire project. Newcastle’s stance feels more reactive than resolute. The player is unsettled, the manager unconvincing, and the timing lines up. If there’s a moment to act, this is it. #Ekitike brings potential and versatility. Isak brings command. Together, they give Slot options, control, and threat from every angle.

#Rodrygo’s name belongs in this conversation too. Not as a luxury but as a solution. He scores, links, adapts and carries the type of pedigree #LFC are clearly targeting. He’s not just another attacker, he’s one who can break open matches on his own terms.

At the back, the logic is just as clear. Selling Quansah means someone must come in. #Guehi fits. Dependable, Premier League-tested, and available. With a heavy calendar and no margin for weakness in central defence, this move should already be in motion.

Liverpool will stay active. That much is certain. But activity alone is not ambition. The club are clearing space and freeing wages to move again, decisively. And when they do, the names they choose will say everything to our rivals about how serious they are for this new season.
