It's clear that Mamdani's decision to leave the country amidst growing backlash against his radical policies raises serious questions about his commitment to New York City. His attempt to frame the trip as a personal matter doesn't erase the timing's suspicious nature, especially given the mounting outrage over his communist and jihadist stances. Loomer's point that he might be fleeing to avoid accountability is a valid concern that deserves scrutiny. The public has a right to know if this trip is more about escaping criticism than celebrating a wedding. Mamdani's actions speak louder than his words, and Loomer's call for transparency is entirely justified.
