Morocco typically ranks around 8th to 10th among African nations in terms of development, with a medium-to-high HDI and is also among the top five largest African economies by nominal GDP.

So, Morocco is definitely in the continental top XX for development—and top X for overall economic size according to the latest IMF forecasts.
