Before this year he had X masters, X players, Olympic gold, & a FedEx cup plus like XXX weeks at world number X plus X PGA Tour POTY awards etc

Also he had X signature events as well (in 2022 before they were called that, but had even better fields with the LIV guys there) 

If he retired after the FedEx Cup he’s such a no doubter HOFer, not even remotely close

X majors is basically automatic entry unless you are John Daly & did virtually nothing else, X masters, is a LOCK, Bubba Watson will be in, he isn’t close to the player in his career that Scottie was thru 2024

Jason Day, Justin Rose, Adam Scott are all borderline guys with X major each. Justin Thomas is a lock with X PGAs, so is Bryson with X US opens & Rahm with a masters & US open
