The new Japan election results make a Trump deal w/Tokyo before the August X deadline highly unlikely.  The current Ishiba govt clearly has no more mandate, & how can the resulting leadership vacuum be filled any time soon?  Will Trump grant an extension?  Or impose XX% tariffs?
