I see many of you miss ZK basics. Let me explain to you a few simple terms to show why @boundless_xyz is important for the future of apps:

dApps: General-purpose Web3 apps
- Run on blockchains like Ethereum, powered by smart contracts.
- Often slow and costly due to on-chain computations, with public data exposing user details.

zkApps: Specialized dApps using zk proofs
- Private: e.g. proving that you paid, without showing the amount.
- Scalable: By moving computations off-chain, zkApps can handle more complex logic with less network load and transaction costs.
- Plus, instead of variable gas fee common in dApps on blockchains like Ethereum, zkApps execute computations at flat fees.

RiscZero: The tech powering zkApps
- Its zkVM lets developers build zkApps in Rust, executing computations off-chain and generating ZK proofs for on-chain verification.

Provers: Automated system for ZK proofs
- Provers receive zkApp computation requests, run them in RiscZero’s zkVM, generate proofs, and earn rewards upon verification.

Boundless: A ZK proof market
- Boundless is where Provers and zkApps come together. zkApps ask for computations and provers deliver verifiable ZK proofs.
- Boundless is a new ZK tech, scaling zkApps and connecting them across any blockchain.

dApps are outdated by today, and infras like Boundless are powering the next generation of private, scalable, cheap zkApps.

ZK hasn't even started yet!
