Today there are X. Four of the five have explicitly adopted capitalist objectives and elements such as foreign investment, market reforms & private enterprise. In fact the main communist thing they kept is the one-party state. So communism went from XX nations to X (DPRK), and was voluntarily abandoned- not kicked out. But yeah keep telling me I’m on the wrong side of history.
